The Lubbock Liberty Leadership Council* (LLC) invites young professionals for an exclusive reception and fireside conversation with Texas Tech University Chancellor Brandon Creighton, one of the leading voices shaping higher education policy in Texas and across America.

Prior to being appointed Texas Tech’s Chancellor, Creighton served in the Texas Senate where he led the charge to pass sweeping reforms in Texas public universities in order to increase accountability, strengthen academic standards, eliminate the impact of DEI and ideological conformity on campus and ensure that young Texans graduate with degrees of value that provide a foundation for a flourishing career.

Chancellor Creighton will share his vision for building a university culture grounded in merit, free inquiry, and positive student outcomes. The conversation will be moderated by Sherry Sylvester, a Distinguished Senior Fellow at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, who worked closely with Chancellor Creighton during his time in the State Senate to pass what have become landmark higher education reforms that are serving as a model for dozens of other states.
