As we look back on 250 years of American exceptionalism, please join the Goldwater Institute and the Texas Public Policy Foundation for a primer and livestream discussion exploring the importance and restoration of civics education, particularly in higher education.

During the expert-led discussion and in partnership with the James G. Martin Center for Academic Renewal, we will examine the importance of teaching the Declaration of Independence and other foundational documents that shaped our nation. We’ll discuss the role of civics in preparing students to understand America’s founding principles, institutions, and constitutional framework.

In-person attendees will enjoy a complimentary lunch. Can’t make it in person? Register for a complimentary livestream ticket and tune in from anywhere.
