The Houston Liberty Leadership Council and The Federalist Society invite you to the Balancing Power on the Scales of Justice: Impact of Courts in Shaping Public Policy panel discussion and happy hour event.
This panel explores the critical intersection of judicial rulings and legislative actions in shaping public policy, with a special focus on Texas. Our esteemed panelists will discuss how decisions made by the U.S. Supreme Court and the Texas Supreme Court have far-reaching implications for the state’s policy landscape. Together, we will explore the judiciary’s role in checking or influencing legislative, executive, and agency actions, as well as the impact of these decisions on local communities.
In addition to the panel discussion, the event will feature a dedicated networking session, offering attendees the opportunity to engage with fellow professionals, legal experts, policymakers, and community leaders.
