AUSTIN – The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s (TPPF) Kent Grusendorf, director of the Center for Education Freedom, and Michael Barba, policy analyst with the Center for Education Freedom are available to discuss school choice in Texas. Mr. Grusendorf and Mr. Barba will also be available for interviews at the School Choice rally TODAY, January 29, 2016, on the south steps of the Texas State Capitol, which begins at 11:00 am (CDT).
The Honorable Kent Grusendorf is Director of the Center for Education Freedom at TPPF, he Arlington in the Texas Legislature for twenty years, focusing on education. Serving on the House Public Education Committee and various Select Committees, he played a significant role in crafting legislative responses to the Edgewood I, Edgewood II, Edgewood III, Edgewood IV, and West Orange Cove school-finance court decisions.
Michael Barba is a policy analyst in the Center for Education Freedom at the Texas Public Policy Founation. He focuses on education finance, school choice, and multimedia.
