AUSTIN – Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Center for the American Future Director Robert Henneke and Center for the Health Care Policy Director John Davidson are available to discuss the U.S. Supreme Court ruling in the King v. Burwell case. With the ruling expected in the near future, the Foundation’s experts are available to discuss the case’s implications on health care policy and on the issue of federal overreach on an authority exclusively granted to the states by law.

John Davidson is the Director of the Center for Health Care Policy. His work on state solutions for healthcare has been directly responsible for the Lone Star State’s resistance to the expansion of Medicaid under ObamaCare. He is a 2013 Claremont Lincoln Fellow, and his work is regularly published in national outlets from the Wall Street Journal, to National Review Online, to Texas Monthly, and beyond.

The Honorable Robert Henneke is the Director of the Foundation’s Center for the American Future. A rising star of conservative litigation, Henneke has had several of his winning cases result in published court opinions. Prior to joining the Foundation, he served the people of Kerr County as the twice-elected County Attorney where he brought conservative values to county government. As an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas, Henneke had a perfect win record in defending Texas, its elected officials, and agencies against federal lawsuits. Henneke is a member of the State Bar of Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit as well as all Texas Federal District Courts. He is also a proud Eagle Scout.
