AUSTIN – In response to the U.S. Department of Interior’s repeal of the 2015 Obama regulation on fracking on public lands, the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Director of the Center for the American Future, Robert Henneke, issued the following statement:

“With each regulation repealed, President Trump is disarming the administrative state. Since Fall 2016, more than 1,500 planned regulatory actions have been withdrawn or delayed, with another 448 deregulatory actions already planned for 2018. In doing so, this Administration seeks to put the executive branch back to its rightful place under the Constitution, and lessen the power Washington, DC has over the American people.”
