The issue of public education could easily be one of the most contentious and talked-about topics for Texans. How should our schools be funded? Should we expand parental freedom? How should teachers and districts be measured—and rewarded?

Please join the San Antonio Liberty Leadership Council* as we tackle these questions and more. We’ll take a deep-dive into what was accomplished this past legislative session in terms of public education, what strides the city of San Antonio has made, and where we go from here.

Speakers:

  • Inga Cotton, Founder & Executive Director, San Antonio Charter Moms
  • Emily Sass, K-12 Senior Policy Analyst for the Center for Innovation in Education, Texas Public Policy Foundation
  • Pedro Martinez, Superintendent, San Antonio ISD

*Liberty Leadership Council events are open to young professionals between the ages of 21 and 40 who are looking to get involved in conservative public policy. Click here for more information.
