Join the San Antonio Liberty Leadership Council* (LLC) and fellow young professionals for a happy hour and panel discussion on one of the most pressing issues facing Texans today: property taxes.

Expert panelists Jimmy Anderson, Deputy State Budget Director at the Office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and Jose Melendez, Director of the Taxpayer Protection Project and the Government Reform & Oversight Coalition at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, will explore the path toward eliminating school property taxes, reining in local government spending, and advancing meaningful reform in the next legislative session.

Together, we’ll dive into the effort to secure property tax relief: the challenges and what it will take to deliver needed relief for Texans. Then, get practical: learn exactly how to protest your own property taxes in a short, real-world walkthrough from someone who’s done it successfully.
