Parents are the people who know their children best, so it’s only natural that they be empowered to make education decisions for their kids. The Texas Public Policy Foundation is committed to supporting parents in the fight to ensure that YOU are the primary decision makers in your child’s education.

You (and your kids!) are invited to dinner at Longhorn Cafe to learn more about the historic opportunity Texas has to put parents in the driver’s seat of their child’s education—from age-appropriate books and learning material, to the potential for education savings accounts—come to get your questions answered and enjoy training on how to best advocate for your children in your community and the Texas Capitol.

Join the San Antonio LLC* and TPPF’s Mandy Drogin for a conversation on forging the path to empower parents with transparency, respect, and choice in the state’s education system. You will be empowered with knowledge and skills to do our most important role: protect and raise your children.

RSVP is required to attend. Complimentary dinner will be served. Please extend this invitation to anyone else who may be interested in this event.

Agenda:

  • Reception: 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM
Mix and mingle with fellow attendees while the kids enjoy age-appropriate activities of their own.
  • Remarks by Mandy Drogin: 6:30 PM – 7:15 PM
Hear from TPPF’s Mandy Drogin on how we can forge the path to empower parents with transparency, respect, and choice in the state’s education system. Audience questions will be taken as well.
  • Reception/Kids Playtime: 7:15 PM – 8:00 PM
Enjoy more reception time in the Party Room or move out to the Longhorn Cafe’s play area.
