Electricity is an essential part of life in America today. Without it, many of us would almost immediately be plunged into extreme hardship. However, the deliverer of electricity, our nation’s energy grid, is extremely vulnerable, either to attack from those who would wish us harm or from the fickleness of Mother Nature. “Grid Down, Power Up” highlights that vulnerability and provides important recommendations to help strengthen our grid. Join our Life:Powered team at our headquarters in Austin to screen this movie and participate in a panel discussion that gets to the heart of issues with the reliability of Texas’ grid.

This event will be hosted at TPPF in Austin. Complimentary drinks and light appetizers will be provided.
