Please note, the event will now take place at the University of the Incarnate Word in the Grossman International Conference Center’s ICC Ballroom.

Despite widespread criticism from the community, the City of San Antonio is forging ahead with its misguided Climate Action and Adaptation Plan, a proposal that will increase your electricity bills and pressure San Antonians to give up their cars and trucks to buy electric vehicles — but have no impact whatsoever on the climate. The worst part? The city doesn’t even know how much it will cost!

Come to our community meeting to find out the results of our research into the cost to implement the misguided CAAP and learn about the problems with unreliable renewable energy.

Attendees can expect a run-down of the proposed plan, the reasons it won’t improve the environment, and its negative impact on San Antonio’s families, businesses, and job market. Please invite your friends and neighbors.

This event is hosted by Life:Powered, a national initiative of the Texas Public Policy Foundation to raise America’s energy IQ. We educate policymakers and the public about the power of affordable, reliable energy to combat poverty, improve public health, promote environmental quality, and advance the human condition.
