In honor of Career and Technical Education Month, the Texas Public Policy Foundation released a video highlighting the importance of CTE programs and Mattress Mack and Mike Feinberg’s Work Texas program in Houston, Texas.
“What Mattress Mack and Mike Feinberg are doing with Work Texas is an exemplary example of showing Texas how business leadership in career and technical education is a game-changer for students and the community,” said Erin Davis Valdez, policy analyst for TPPF’s Right on Work initiative. “In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic and our recent winter storm disaster, the importance of local businesses as institutions of civil society has never been more clear. College for all isn’t working for all, which is why Texas leaders should be focused on opportunity for all.”
