AUSTIN – Today, the Texas Senate passed SB 2, a bill that would empower Texas parents with a universal Education Savings Accounts program. It now goes to the Texas House.
“TPPF is incredibly grateful to Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Senator Brandon Creighton for the quick passage of SB 2,” said TPPF CEO Greg Sindelar. “This legislation is vital to ensuring that Texas parents have the opportunity to choose the educational setting that works best for their children and will help move Texas towards becoming the best state to start and raise a family. We now look forward to working with Speaker Burrows and the Texas House on this crucial bill.”
