Today, Texas Governor Greg Abbott will sign a historic $18 billion property tax relief package into law. This is the largest property tax cut in Texas history and includes an increase in the homestead exemption, reduces school tax rates, provides franchise tax relief, and creates a circuit breaker pilot project.
