AUSTIN — Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation announced that Gov. Greg Abbott will serve as the opening keynote speaker during the Wednesday, February 19th lunch session of the Texas Policy Summit. Governor Abbott has spent the interim preparing for a highly consequential session that will have the whole nation watching. As Texas’ 89th legislative session starts to heat up, the Governor has a hand in setting the agenda early by introducing his emergency items for the Legislature to consider.
