AUSTIN – The Claremont Institute has selected Mary Katherine Stout, Vice President for Policy and Director of the Center for Health Care Policy at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, as one of its 2007 Lincoln Fellows.

“The Lincoln Fellowship is a prestigious program,” said Foundation President Brooke Rollins. “The 76 previous Lincoln Fellows include senior congressional staff, White House staff and speechwriters, and senior advisors in numerous federal agencies. We are thrilled that the selection committee recognized the outstanding qualities in Mary Katherine that those of us who work with her see every day.”

Lincoln Fellowships are awarded to ambitious, civic-minded professionals working in the area of national public policy and who seek the return of limited constitutional government. This year’s Lincoln Fellows Program will take place August 4-12 in Newport Beach, CA.

The Texas Public Policy Foundation is a non-profit, free market research institute based in Austin.
