AUSTIN – The Texas Public Policy Foundation and the Foundation for American Innovation will be hosting a primer on the future of AI in Texas and answering the question, “how do we responsibly, transparently, and effectively harness the power of AI while minimizing or outright preventing irreparable harm?”

TPPF, the Foundation for American Innovation, Amanda Crawford, the Chief Information Officer for the state of Texas, and nationally renowned tech policy expert Chairman Giovanni Capriglione will explore what AI can bring to the Texas economy, how we can use it to make government more efficient, and how responsible AI can benefit all Texans. The Honorable Zach Whiting will also provide an update on the Foundation’s brand new research paper that provides the intellectual ammunition for lawmakers to legislate AI responsibly.
