Local governance panel: Forced annexation a threat to liberty

Annexation without representation—this is the unfortunate reality some Texans face as big city governments annex rural property owners to alleviate some of their own mounting debt and pension problems.

This growing and looming threat to property rights was the topic of conversation earlier this month at the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s 14^th annual Policy Orientation Panel: “No Voice, No Vote: Force Annexation in Texas”, wherein Texas State Senator Donna Campbell, Texas House Representative Dan Huberty, and former U.S. Senate and House Member Phil Gram all joined in to discuss this encroachment on liberty!
