Katie Tahuahua manages communications for the Foundation’s Life:Powered initiative which promotes free-market energy policies that support affordable, reliable, abundant energy resources to advance the human condition.

A native Texan, Katie has a lifelong passion for the power of the written word to educate, inspire, and persuade. Her communications, digital marketing, and public policy background includes service in the administrations of Governors Rick Perry and Greg Abbott, the Texas House of Representatives, and a congressional campaign.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys reading, cooking, and exploring local parks and leads a couples ministry at Riverbend Church with her husband, Geoffrey. They live in Dripping Springs with their two rescue dogs.
