Heidi Walusimbi is an attorney with the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s litigation arm, the Center for the American Future.
Prior to joining the Foundation, she worked as a prosecutor in both Florida and Texas, working on cases ranging from misdemeanor offenses to felony narcotics and violent crime.
Heidi received her J.D., cum laude, from Florida A&M University and is licensed to practice in Texas and Florida.
Heidi and her husband have 2 amazing children who keep them busy and on their toes. In her free time, Heidi enjoys reading about philosophy and is an avid runner.
