AUSTIN – Today, The Texas Public Policy Foundation announced a one-day policy orientation with keynote speakers Gov. Greg Abbott and Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick on July 17, the day before special session begins at the Capitol.

The orientation will focus on comprehensive conservative reform including increasing educational opportunities for students with special needs, property tax reform, payroll protection and annexation reform.

In addition to Gov. Abbott and Lt. Gov. Patrick, other elected leaders, TPPF scholars and national policy experts will participate. A more detailed agenda and instructions for media interested in attending will follow.
