Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Vice President of Policy Derek Cohen was appointed by Governor Greg Abbott to the State Commission on Judicial Conduct. The Committee safeguards the integrity of the judiciary by evaluating the conduct of judges both on and off the bench.
“An independent and impartial judiciary is the keystone of our constitutional order and critical to the civic health of our great state,” said Cohen. “I am honored to have been selected for this post, and look forward to contributing to the continued vitality of our hallowed institutions.”
