Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation praises Speaker Dade Phelan for his committee assignments and welcomes the selection of Representative Brad Buckley (R-Killeen) as the new House Public Education Chair, as well as the additional committee members.
As Texas enters potentially a historic moment for the educational future of its students, this committee will be a leader in ensuring Texans everywhere have access to the best educational opportunities available.
