Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation applauded the appointment of Dr. Richard Johnson to the Board of Regents of Texas Southern University. Dr. Johnson currently serves as the Director of TPPF’s Booker T. Washington Initiative.
“As a former educator and an outspoken advocate for improving the quality of K-12 and higher education, Dr. Johnson will bring decades of experience and expertise to the Texas Southern University Board of Regents,” said TPPF CEO Greg Sindelar. “We are excited for this opportunity for him and look forward to his continuing commitment to Texas students.”
