TPPF Applauds Passage of SB 12 by the Texas Senate to Stop Funding Lobbyists with Public Dollars

“TPPF applauds Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick and Senator Mayes Middleton for the quick passage of SB 12,” said James Quintero, Policy Director for TPPF’s Taxpayer Protection Project. “Texans overwhelmingly reject the use of public dollars for contract lobbyists. SB 12 puts an end to taxpayer-funded lobbying by local governments and places families first instead of special interests.”
