The Texas Public Policy Foundation released the following statement from Next Generation Texas Campaign Director Mandy Drogin:
“Each anti-school choice budget amendment is intended to deliberately and cruelly deny parents more choices and greater control over their child’s education. Rather than ensure every hard-earned taxpayer dollar goes toward the things we know improve educational outcomes – like an excellent curriculum, great teachers, and empowering parents – they only wish to preserve the status quo. Policymakers should stand with the millions of parents and overwhelming majority of Texans who support school choice.”
