Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation announced the Abuse of Power: The FBI and Weaponization of Justice panel, focused on the two-tiered nature of the U.S. justice system. During the Friday, March 22nd breakfast session of the Texas Policy Summit, TPPF’s Executive Director Robert Henneke will host a discussion focusing on the FBI’s weaponization of justice, creating different penalties for those in government versus those for everyday Americans.

“In my career with DOJ, including my years as U.S. Attorney, I never believed I would see the day that DOJ would use their enormous investigative and prosecutorial power to target their political adversaries and opponents. But that is exactly what is happening in DOJ and the FBI,” said former U.S. Attorney and Executive Director of Right On Crime Brett Tolman. “This federal overreach permeates a two-tiered justice system in courts across the nation, and it must be stopped.”
