Today, the Texas Public Policy Foundation announced former state representative Matt Krause would be joining the foundation as a senior fellow. Krause spent a decade in the state house fighting for strong conservative policy reforms and building an impressive record of success. Krause will have a wide portfolio for the foundation helping to advocate for its top policy priorities like criminal justice reform, protecting minors from gender modification, parent empowerment, and property tax reform.

“Matt will give TPPF an important voice across the state,” said TPPF CEO Greg Sindelar. “He has the institutional knowledge and issue expertise to help us fight on just about any topic. His advice and help will be an important key to the foundation’s success this session.”

“I am incredibly excited to join the team at TPPF,” said Krause. “Having worked closely with them on many issues during my time in the Texas House, I know how much they prioritize excellence in all they do. TPPF is helping provide the resources to lawmakers to ensure conservative principles are translated into Texas policy during Session. I am confident that TPPF’s work will benefit Texas and Texans both now and well into the future.”
