Professor Clemente’s research specialization is the socioeconomic impact of energy policy— especially issues relating to electricity generation, reliability and cost. He was editor and primary author of the International Energy Agency reportThe Global Value of Coal. He has published over 100 articles in such media asPublic Utilities Fortnightly, Electric Perspectives, World Oil, Nuclear News, American Coal, and Oil and Gas Journal. Professor Clemente has been listed in the social science section of American Men and Women of Science.
