Friday on The Chad Hasty Show, Chuck DeVore, vice president for policy at the Texas Public Policy Foundation, joined Chad to discuss legislative issues for the state of Texas, with the end of the 84th Legislature arriving in about one month.
DeVore talked about the continued debate on differing forms of tax relief, transportation funding, elimination of other spending items, as well as tuition caps.
On transportation funding, DeVore said,
Texas continues to grow fast, and the belief is that we need more money for transportation.
