Texas flipped the script when it comes to housing affordability in the 89th Legislative Session. New reforms including everything from minimum lot size reform to converting commercial space to residential space were passed with broad coalitions. However, the ink is barely dry on these game changing reforms and already local governments are trying to stymie them where they can. The fight isn’t over, now the focus must shift to implementing these policies that will lower the costs of housing for Texans so that they may continue to live the American Dream right here in The Lone Star State.

Join our panel that will discuss the housing affordability issue in Texas and how these reforms will tackle the issue head on. Our panelists will also touch on how these new housing reforms will be implemented and how they can be replicated nationwide to help make the dream of home ownership a reality for millions of Americans.
