Join the Texas Public Policy Foundation and the The Federalist Society Austin Lawyer Chapter for a discussion with United States District Judge Roy K. Altman about his new book, Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law. In it, Judge Altman applies courtroom-tested standards—burden of proof, corroboration, chain of custody—to scrutinize accusations of colonialism, apartheid, and genocide against Israel. Drawing on historical records, legal precedents, and factual evidence, Judge Altman provides a methodical framework for separating truth from misinformation in an age dominated by viral narratives and polarized debate.

This timely discussion will explore how rigorous analysis can inform public understanding of complex geopolitical issues, offering insights that extend beyond the courtroom to policy and society at large. This is not just a book about Israel. It’s a guide for anyone who believes facts still matter.

Complimentary lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Judge Altman’s book will be provided at no charge to the first one hundred attendees, and Judge Altman will be available to sign his book afterwards. You’re also welcome to tune in online via livestream.
