A respected and world-renowned author, Dr. Ronald Johnson has published works in countless newspapers, books and professional journals throughout the years. Originally a graduate of a small Texas High School, Ronald holds degrees from The University of Arizona, Louisiana Baptist University, and the International Institute. He has taught at public schools in Arizona and Texas and has been a Fellow at the Ford Foundation in recognition of his educational achievements with migrant minority children. He is a certified public school administrator, has served on textbook selection panels in Arizona and Texas and is recognized as a Texas Education Entrepreneur Hero by The Center for Educational Reform for his innovative work on charter schools. Together with his wife, he founded one of the first contract campuses authorized by the Texas legislature in 1993, and operated four charter schools for at-risk teenagers in Texas rural communities.

The final oral arguments for the current school finance litigation were heard before the Texas Supreme Court on September 1st 2015. This amicus brief explains how our state can make education more productive for Texas children.
