TPPF Court Battles
Help us Battle in Court!
TPPF is involved in two active cases against the U.S. government to protect individual liberty and the Constitution. The Biden Administration continues to prolong the cases and drain our resources, so we need your help!
Windfarm Case – Seafreeze Shoreside Inc. vs. U.S. Department of Interior
Boston: TPPF is representing a coalition of small fishing companies, with Seafreeze as the main plaintiff. We’re challenging the legality and hypocrisy of the Biden Administration’s Vineyard Windfarm Project, which completely bypassed all environmental requirements that other companies must comply with. The wind turbines will destroy all fishing and wildlife in a 75,614 acre area, thereby ending generations of family businesses. You can catch a glimpse the fishermen’s lives and all that will be lost in our award-winning Short Documentary.
Pistol Brace Case – Watterson vs. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF)
New Orleans: This is a second amendment case related to ownership of pistol braces, which were invented to assist disabled individuals who lack upper body ability to fire a pistol. In January 2023, the ATF published a new rule reclassifying these braces as short-barreled rifles and telling gun owners they have 120 days to register or surrender them or face felony charges. In other words, the Biden Administration turned thousands of law-abiding gun owners into felons overnight. Our litigation team argued on behalf of Blake Watterson that the ATF cannot simply rewrite federal statutes, and that the Constitution gives Congress — not executive agencies — the legislative power to make laws.
