Special Session Support

Governor Abbott has officially called a Special Session!

NOW, It’s GO time. The Special Session will begin July 21, and TPPF needs your help to seize the opportunity the Governor has given us.

  • Cut local spending to relieve property taxes: TPPF has long been the tip of the spear on cutting property taxes, but homeowners have barely felt any relief because of out-of-control local government spending. We have the solutions; now we have the opportunity to advance them.
  • Banning Taxpayer Funded Lobbying: TPPF has led a massive effort to educate lawmakers about the injustices of local governments using our tax dollars to hire lobbyists, who then lobby to raise our taxes!! We came close to banning this practice during the regular session, and now we can achieve this goal.
