Keep the “Green New Deal” out of Texas and from Harming Your Family

Politicians from New York, California, and other big-government states have filed a bill in Congress known as the “Green New Deal,” supported by numerous presidential candidates and cosponsored by more than 80 Members of Congress;

“Green New Deal”-style policies have already begun to invade Texas, costing tens of thousands of families over $1,200 per year in higher energy costs due to enforced “wind power” and electricity purchased from the French government;

The “Green New Deal” would drastically transform the entire U.S. economy from free markets toward socialism, and fund the plan through enormous new taxes and debt, with cost estimates at $93 trillion ($600,000 per household);

The “Green New Deal” would impose taxes on 80% of our energy sources in order to eliminate them; eliminate gas-powered cars; eliminate passenger air travel; force restructuring of all homes and other buildings; force the use of unreliable wind and solar power; and micro-manage workplaces;

The reason for this is “global-warming” hysteria that has been disproven as “junk science,” refuted by work published by respected experts through the Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF);
