School this fall: In-person, virtual, or your choice?
As summer comes to a close, COVID has brought up an important question: should students return to in–person education, pursue opportunities for virtual education, or some combination?
The truth is, it should be up to parents to decide what’s best for their children, not the government.
That’s why I believe that:
✅ Schools should have both in-person classes and a virtual option, with parents choosing which option works best for their family;
✅ Public funding for education should serve students’ actual needs;
✅ Students should be given more opportunities so that they can learn the way that suits them best.
As a Texan, I hereby sign this declaration to empower parents and ensure students are afforded the best opportunities!
