Stephanie Rivera serves as Communications and Outreach Manager in the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s Washington, D.C. office.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Stephanie spent three years at the Republican State Leadership Committee, a national committee focused on electing Republicans to state legislatures and other down-ballot offices across the country. She served as National Press Secretary before becoming Director of Media Affairs. Across three election cycles, she led communications for key target states, driving state and national media coverage while serving as an on-the-record spokesperson for the committee. As Director of Media Affairs, she also ran the committee’s in-house booking program, securing national media appearances for RSLC staff and state lawmakers, including on Fox News, Newsmax, and NewsNation.
Her experience also includes serving as Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Rand Paul and War Room Director for Gov. Ron DeSantis’ 2018 campaign. Following the campaign, Stephanie served as Press Lead for the DeSantis-Nuñez Inaugural Committee before joining the DeSantis administration as Deputy Communications Director at the Florida Department of State.
A graduate of American University, Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication and Spanish. Born and raised in South Florida, she is a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan.
