Michaelanne Hurst is the Director of Donor Communications for the Texas Public Policy Foundation. With a passion for serving and helping organizations grow, she has dedicated over 25 years to the non-profit sector, holding leadership roles in 501(c)3 and 501(c)6 organizations.
Before joining the Foundation, she served as Executive Director for three years at the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce and seven years at Communities for Recovery. She also spent thirteen years as the Director of Meetings and Conventions at the Texas Automobile Dealers Association.
Michaelanne’s experience in building and growing organizations through fundraising, membership engagement, and volunteer cultivation has been a driving force throughout her career.
Hurst earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Communications from St. Edward’s University, Austin. A fourth-generation Texan, she has deep roots in Austin and is committed to making a positive impact through her work. In her spare time, she loves thrifting, reading and traveling to the Hill Country for rest and relaxation.
