A life-long West Texan, Matt Stringer has a background in both small business and public policy. With a history of grassroots involvement in furthering conservative policy reforms in the Texas Legislature, Stringer has worked on issues ranging from the prevention of human trafficking to property rights and more.

Stringer was recognized with the Texas Conservative Leader’s Award in 2015, and in 2019 was selected by the Conservative Partnership Institute in Washington D.C. as a Haggerty-Richardson fellow. In addition, Stringer was elected to serve two consecutive terms as a Presidential Elector for Texas’ 11th Congressional District and most recently was selected by his colleagues to serves as the chairman of the Electoral College for the State of Texas.

Stringer holds an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Odessa College and works as a freelance journalist and writer focusing on politics and public policy issues in West Texas.
