Kirsten is the Secure & Sovereign Nation Policy Scholar at the Texas Public Policy Foundation.
The loudest and proudest member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2024, Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Texas A&M University. During her time on campus, she was involved in Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, Campus Muster, and MSC Abbott Family Leadership Conference. Loving College Station too much to leave, Kirsten attended The Bush School of Government and Public Service to receive her Master of Public Service and Administration. Concentrating in Homeland Security and National Defense, she also received a Graduate Certificate in Homeland Security.
Prior to joining the Texas Public Policy Foundation, Kirsten served as a Policy Analyst in the Texas Senate during the 89th Legislative Session, where she focused primarily on State Affairs, Business & Commerce, and Finance legislation.
In her free time, Kirsten is probably tackling another “grandma hobby,” updating her Goodreads, or enjoying her Cinemark Movie Club membership. When she’s not booking another flight, Kirsten can often be found enjoying quality time with her husband and their dog, Winchester.
