AUSTIN – The Texas Public Policy Foundation will host “At the Crossroads: Energy & Climate Policy Summit,” on September 25-26, 2014 at the Hyatt Regency in Houston. This summit will bring together the brightest and most eminent minds on energy and climate change to discuss the path forward from the crossroads between the transformative energy revolution and coercive federal regulatory mandates.

Sessions will explore the latest in climate science; current federal regulations and litigation; the history, politics, and economics behind man-made global warming; energy alternatives to fossil fuels; and how energy factors into prosperity and poverty.  

Speakers include Matt Ridley, author of “The Rational Optimist; Mark P. Mills, senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute; Dr. Frank Clemente, professor emeritus at Penn State University; and TPPF’s own Kathleen Hartnett White.  A keynote address will be given by Governor Rick Perry.
