On July 18, Governor Greg Abbott will call the 85th Texas Legislature into special session to address 20 issues. These 30 days present a historic opportunity for the Legislature to promote liberty and economic opportunity for Texans. Given the breadth of the Foundation’s research on these topics, the Texas Public Policy Foundation is hosting a special, one-day Policy Orientation for the Special Session.

Come hear Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, legislative champions, and TPPF and national policy experts talk about the importance of empowering Texas families, defending local liberty, and promoting statewide reform, and how specifically we can advance those goals working together this summer.

The Policy Orientation for the Special Session will take place from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17 at the Texas Public Policy Foundation’s headquarters, located at 901 Congress Avenue in Austin. Space is limited, so please sign up today to reserve a seat and a complimentary lunch.

We hope you will join Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Patrick, our key legislative leaders, and TPPF in helping to achieve all of the important objectives of this historic special session, which will make Texas’ beacon of liberty shine even brighter for generations to come.
