Texas Public Policy Foundation (TPPF) Managing Editor and Research Analyst Carine Martinez-Gouhier will testify before the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Border Security TODAY, Wednesday, March 8, at 1:30 p.m. CST in room 2E.20 of the Texas State Capitol.
“Senate Bill 277 brings us an example of how government intervention can meddle with our daily lives,” said Martinez-Gouhier. “Wind-powered energy devices can interfere with military radars. By removing the tax incentives businesses that install wind-powered energy devices close to military aviation bases may receive, SB 277 tries to remedy a problem caused in part by Chapters 312 and 313 of the Tax Code.”
