AUSTIN –The Texas Public Policy Foundation’s (TPPF) Fueling Freedom Project rolled out its first mobile app to allow iPhone and Android users to follow up-to-the-minute developments in climate and energy policy. The app brings nine specific portals to mobile users, including feeds for global satellite temperature reports, climate policy news, and relevant social media links, among others.

Fueling Freedom Project Director Doug Domenech said, “One-in-five people under the age of 35 get their news solely through mobile devices while another two-thirds are omnivorous news consumers, using both desktops and mobile. Our new app reaches this crucial demographic with news and views on a topic of interest: the intersection of climate and energy policy.”

The Fueling Freedom Project app can be downloaded via iTunes Connect and Google Play.
