Texas Public Policy Foundation’s (TPPF) Chip Roy, Director of the Tenth Amendment Center, appeared on CNN with Ana Cabrera discussing repealing Obamacare. This interview continues TPPF’s effort to repeal Obamacare and support returning much of healthcare decision-making to the people and to the states.
“The American healthcare system needs more competition, less regulation, and empowerment of states to improve the actual care people receive,” said Mr. Roy. “States want to be able to come up with unique solutions for their residents. Instead, Obamacare is driving up costs by forcing people into the Medicaid system and putting so many regulations in the private market that in the end, nobody can afford the insurance. Any solution must begin with full repeal of Obamacare."
