The Tax Foundation released this week a map showing the reliance of states on federal funding. It turns out that Texas ranks towards to top, at number 11, of the state’s that rely most heavily on federal aid. As we’ve noted before, reliance on federal funding leads to the growth of both the size and scope state government.
