When it comes to knowing what children need, parents know best. That is why parents should be empowered to make the education decisions that best fit their family’s need.
That is exactly why the Texas Legislature should solidify the changes made in 2020, which would put parents in the driver’s seat. Whether it’s virtual, in-person, or a combination, parents should be empowered to choose the type of education mechanism that serves their children best. When it comes to in-person and virtual learning, a WPAi Poll conducted in February shows that 68% of Texans believe that schools should let parents choose which ever option works best for their child.
I encourage you to support empowering parents in their children’s education and give families more options this session!
