This failure to disclose real prices has been one of the major drivers of skyrocketing healthcare costs and leaves consumers with little power. I believe that:
✅ Healthcare providers should make the cost of their services available in easy-to-understand terms before performing any services,
✅ I should know what the price is going to be in advance of the service/product I receive,
✅ Price transparency would allow me, the consumer, an opportunity to seek out lower prices for services,
✅ The latest Trump Admiration rules would compel insurance companies to reveal the negotiated rates for service with hospitals, a significant first step to price transparency. But, consumers deserve more transparency!
