AUSTIN – The Texas Public Policy Foundation regrets to report that our Executive Director Arlene Wohlgemuth was involved in a fairly serious motorcycle accident this past Saturday. Fortunately, she is receiving the best of care at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth, and she is expected to make a full recovery within the coming weeks.
Wohlgemuth is well known as an accomplished legislator, an eminent civic leader, a healthcare policy scholar, a mother, grandmother, a longtime aviation racer, and a motorcycle rider.
The Texas Public Policy Foundation family wishes her all the best, and our hopes and prayers accompany her on the road to recovery.
The Honorable Arlene Wohlgemuth is Executive Director of the Texas Public Policy Foundation. She served 10 years as a state representative for district 58.
